I love the humor of the title and the textures, lines, and sense of abstraction created in this photo. v/f

Phyllis Denton replied:

Thank you, Lenore! It's fun to know someone else is enjoying the humor here!!

So much to kick start the imagination ... what a story it tells ... surely not pretensions of grandeur ... more a desire to enjoy life. The utilitarian clothes line contrasted with the trellised patio area tells me a woman with a sense of creating a true home once lived here!!!! GREAT find and capture!!!!!

Phyllis Denton replied:

Thank you, Lois! I can see you are very much like me when it comes to examining a photo that obviously contains an untold story! Detail is fun---detail is important! Detail sparks the imagination!!

Phyllis, I love the texture, detail and "burned" color of this quaint little house. V&F

Phyllis Denton replied:

Thank you so much, Kaye, for your comments and support!!

To me, photography is an adventure in time and space. With all the hustle and bustle of our busy lives, photography is one way to stop time; a chance to pull the viewer in, and show the beauty and intrigue a single second contains. A turn of the head, a ray of sunlight, the movement of a cloud, all work together to produce that perfect instant; that time to record; that time to share. Thank you for visiting my page.
