This montage of photograph and words depicts a beautiful orange cactus blossom and bud, coming from a very unfriendly, pricker ridden, cactus plant. The written message, "Blessings don't always come in a pretty package", is meant to be a word of encouragement to anyone who is going through a tough time. Often, tough times reveal a blessing, perhaps years from now. The thorny cactus plant represents the tough time, while the blossom represents the blessing that sometimes comes forth from the tough time.
To me, photography is an adventure in time and space. With all the hustle and bustle of our busy lives, photography is one way to stop time; a chance to pull the viewer in, and show the beauty and intrigue a single second contains. A turn of the head, a ray of sunlight, the movement of a cloud, all work together to produce that perfect instant; that time to record; that time to share. Thank you for visiting my page.
